An intuitive retail checkout experience designed for everyday business operations.
Project overview
A streamlined point-of-sale experience designed for retail checkout, inventory visibility, and everyday store operations.
This is a concept created by Ganjina Studio. It was not commissioned by a client.
The challenge
Retail checkout interfaces often become difficult to navigate when product catalogs, inventory details, and transaction controls compete for attention. A cashier with a queue has no time to hunt for a button.
Products on one side, the current sale on the other. Nothing moves between sales, so muscle memory builds quickly.
Only the checkout button uses the accent colour. Everything else stays quiet until it is needed.
Product tiles and quantity controls are sized for touch screens and fast hands.
Every control is a real button with a clear label, and cart changes are announced.
Everything listed here works in the interactive preview below.
Type a few letters and the grid narrows instantly.
Jump between product groups with a single tap.
Add, increase, decrease or remove items; stock limits are respected.
Subtotal, sample tax and total update as the cart changes.
Completing a sale shows a clearly labelled sample receipt. No payment is taken.
Designed for the counter: desktop and tablet screens. There is no phone app in this concept, and it does not connect to payment terminals, printers or scanners.
